Mantéllo Model of the Year 2024

This year, we’re celebrating a model who has shown genuine love and support for the brand since day one. From the moment Kayla reached out to join, I was honestly surprised as her portfolio was already full of stunning work, and I couldn’t believe someone of her caliber wanted to model for me. Since then, she’s brought magic to every shoot and continues to show why she’s such a joy to collaborate with. I recently sat down with Kayla to learn more about her journey and what inspires her:

So how has your experience been with the Mantéllo brand so far? 

“My experience with the brand has been amazing. It’s always a good time with good energy and you really can’t beat that on a set. Also the creativity and effort put into each shoot I truly adore. I’ve felt like family from the start. I love it.”

What would you say is your favorite part about modeling?

“I would have to say my favorite part about modeling is being able to network and work with so many creatives. To be able to embody what they envision is what makes it all worth it. It’s always been a passion of mine so to even be booked is a blessing.”

What inspires you?

“What inspires me is seeing black successful people. People who built what they have from the ground up, and even if they didn’t have to struggle; still stepped out on faith to do what they wanted.”

If you had to tell your younger self anything, what would you say?

“If I had to tell my younger self anything I would say. “Keep fighting, you’re so strong and beautiful. Don’t hold yourself back because you’re scared. Fear doesn’t help you flourish. Live life, you’ll be okay”.”
